Damn Dice Thriller Killer album review

Damn Dices latest release Thriller Killer is another hard, ball busting energetic heavy rock with melody and hooks.
The first track Thrill Of The Kill has all the elements that make Damn Dice unique. The heaviness with a melodic sense and punk attitude. Wallis playing his ace with precision and passion. One of the best metal bands on the scene today. Just balls out heavy melodic metal music. Stories I write is upbeat and a banger. Alex is singing his ass off, his voice is getting better with each record as well, full of attitude and conviction. A voice for the disenchanted. One of the best bands in the underground. This Time has a sweet riff. Slight Velvet Revolver vibe, just heavier. It's as much rock n roll as it is old school metal. It's uplifting, powerful and intricate. They have what's hard to achieve these days, a unique identifiable sound. Turn Back the Clock starts with a Iron Maiden meets Megadeth vibe. Heavy as fuck, and punches you in the balls. And the orgasmic solo. These guys never have disappointed in terms of awesome songs and heavy fucking rock.

Leaving With Nothing is another heavy balls out rocker, with a great melodic, powerful chorus. How can they do this so fucking well?
Fire Below is almost reminiscent of Disturbed, but if Disturbed could write good songs and sing, which is surprising but good. It's not nu metal, but it's  got that same heaviness and vibe but with real musicians and songwriters and a good singer with a real voice.

One good song after another here, Got To Know is another powerful tune, Blood And Tears has an amazing riff, and awesome structures. Alex wailing, Wallis shredding. These guys seriously are the next big band.
Back Again is a kick ass anthem about perseverance, Behind Youstarts off with a great guitar line, that picks up to another kick ass tune, with alot of hooks. Killer.
What a life begins with a clean riff, and then kicks you in the head.
The album closes with Find Me, a slow, dark anthem.this record is truly flawless, and has so much talent and energy. Metal meets Guns N Roses. Fucking fantastic. Due out in December.

Sadartha Growth EP Review

Sadartha's third release is the ep Growth. With slightly better production than the last two albums, the band drops most of the hardcore punk influences going for a pure grunge sound. Opening track Emptifull has a sweet groove in the verse and explodes on the chorus. The band seems to have found their footing hear. Jangly muddy guitars, pulsating bass, and frantic but precise drums. Is it 1992 again? Aconitum starts with a watery sounding guitar riff. So slow and vibey. This is like Nirvana's Nevermind meets Alice In Chain's Jar Of Flies. So dark, so sublime.  Eclipsing Binaries sounds upbeat.a lazy day with a joint in the sun with nothing to do is what comes to mind. Really good song. Nice melodies. These dudes are definitely on the rise and just get better. Sacred Scorcher has such an awesome groove. Hearing a little Mudhoney influence here. Then the guitars distort and it's a train barrelling down the tracks at 110 mph on fire. It's fucking great.  ...

Dead Witches-Ouija (2017) review

Dead Witches are an amazing, crushingly heavy, psychedelic, stoner doom band. With legend drummer Mark Greening(Ex Electric Wizard, With The Dead,  Ramessess) along with vocalist Virginia Monti(Psychedelic Witchcraft), Carl Geary on bass, and Greg Elk on guitar, sadly Elk passed away in 2016. The album is absolutely superb, definitely one of the best records of the year. The production is amazing, the songs are great, and the fucking riffs are orgasms for the ears. The album starts off with the sound of rain, and a storm, and a haunting bass riff, followed with some organ and guitar feedback, setting a very dark mood. and moves into the song Dead, which starts off with a fantastic, fuzzy riff, and the drums kick in, and this song rides on the groove of this riff, building and building, as Virginia opens her beautiful, haunting vocals, its very powerful. It sucks you into the dark vortex to hell, dragging you numbed from dopesmoke. How metal is that? It's nice to hear Mark bashin...

Shadow Show Silhouettes Review

Shadow Show is a Psychedelic power trio from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Fantastic, cosmic music with spacey vocal harmonies. Their debut album Silhouettes is a fine example of very good modern psych, with ten solid tracks. So tight it sounds and feels loose. The album starts off with the single and video Charades, somewhere between a rockin Byrd’s meets mid 60’s Beatles vibe with a bit of Syd Barrett Pink Floyd and that slight punk sneer. Very catchy, very trippy, very groovy. Contessa has a 60s meets 90s grunge kinda vibe to it, and has backing vocals akin to the Monkees, nice touch. These girls don’t sound like anyone else around, and best of all, the guitar is so fuzzy! Green Stone is one of the stronger songs on the album, going into some Rolling Stones and Yardbirds type vibes, total mid 60s psychedelia. The Alchemist is like Uncle Acid without the distortion and sped up a bit. A layer of acoustic guitar and just an incredible hazy vibe like the inside of an enchanted fores...
